They’re all words that describe Mark Kosmider (Founder and Director of Bushell Buckley & Associates) and his team of safety professionals, whose expertise across a wide range of industries both in Australia and internationally will benefit your organisation.

From the performing arts to healthcare; aircraft manufacturing to industrial cleaning; and heavy construction to major earthworks, team members individually and collectively are passionate in their approach to workplace safety in all of its aspects.

Mark is tertiary qualified, and with over ten years Risk Management experience, applies a systematic approach to identifying, documenting, developing and implementing effective workplace strategies and methodologies, with the twin goals of eliminating safety risks to personnel and damage to property. In doing so, he and his associates can improve the performance, profitability and corporate image of your organisation.

A lateral thinker who encourages self-discipline, loyalty and the importance of teamwork, Mark’s associates include:

• An AusIMM Chartered Professional Engineer who holds state statutory certificates of mine manager competency, and who has extensive mining and mine management / team building experience in both underground and open pit hard rock mines, and alluvials.
  • Technical competencies that extend to many facts of mining
  • Participation in exploration, varied minerals processing, and environmental management planning;
  • Significant skills in mine safety, and the implementation of site safety and investigation programs; and
  • Comprehensive experience in site inspections and 2-3 day audits whilst Inspector of Mines, Quarries / WorkSafe Inspector and Mine Manager.
• A Registered Nurse who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a Post Graduate Diploma in Critical Care Nursing, with 15 years extensive and diverse experience:
  • Occupational and Remote location experience;
  • Critical Care: Including extensive Emergency, Intensive Care and Coronary Care, as CN and SDE;
  • Holds certifications from the UK Resuscitation Council, and is nationally recognised and approved as an occupational first aid, basic and advanced life support educator and provider;
  • Hold certification from the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians for Advanced Providers (Queensland Health), and is nationally approved and recognised to educate and provide pre-hospital life support;
  • Promotion of healthy and safe living; and
  • Crisis Management

Working closely with your senior executives and relevant management, Mark and his team will develop an in depth understanding of your operation and its specific requirements. We will then take responsibility for every phase of planning, implementing and monitoring your Risk Management strategies.
